Travelodge Derby Chaddesden

A great little find. I stayed a single weekend night, and from my arrival to departure everything was just right. I received a very warm welcome and was given directions to my room. The room was very clean, and the hot shower very welcome. As my room was at the rear of the hotel it was also very quiet. I found the bed very comfortable, and the room was warm. A great night's sleep!

Good hotel with good staff, very dated though could do with a full refurbishment. To get into rooms, you have to use a physical key rather than a card like you would in a more modern hotel.

The building and room was a little run down but had a good night sleep. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Busy pub nextdoor good selection of shops in the area.

It's a Travelodge and for that you get a clean basic room the same anywhere in the UK. Plenty of car parking and attached to a Toby Inn pub. There is a large Asda nearby and in the other direction lots of shops. It's a fairly old small Travelodge, the entrance is one door that looked like the entrance to flats rather than a hotel, but once inside reception was friendly and checked in quickly. Room was upstairs that had only 16 rooms, 8 each side so not many other guests. Once in the room I didn't hear any noise outside of the room either from in the hotel or outside. As it's older hotel there is lack of plugs but enough to charge phone and laptop whilst having the TV on. For one Saturday night this was excellent value.

Very impressed with value for money. Friendly receptionist, a clean, good sized room with ensuite and decent shower. Kettle and tea/coffee sachets provided with milk, sugar etc. Can request more if needed. Set back from an A road, lots of parking space, and right next door to a Toby Carvery - big bonus for breakfast if you like to have one. Supermarket next door too and easy access to all main routes. One point worth noting . . .entrance not that obvious - looks more like a side door!!

Super stay this weekend. Perfect location to catch up with family.

Great location, had a problem with our kettle, but the very helpful reception guy came and sorted it really quickly. Room clean and comfortable, beds always comfy.

Nice travelodge one of the older ones with slightly smaller rooms but nice and clean and friendly staff. Water pressure in the shower was pretty poor, but other than that, no complaints. Good location, plenty of shops and food available within walking distance.
